Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?
Call or text 480-788-0595 with your document type, location, number of signers, and preferred appointment time.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The amount depends on the documents and services needed. We’ll confirm the deposit amount before you book, and it will be applied toward your total. The deposit will be kept if you miss your appointment or the appointment cannot proceed because you are not ready, including having missing or incomplete documents, unacceptable identification, or required signers or witnesses unavailable.

Is there a late fee?
A 10-minute grace period is provided. If you are more than 10 minutes late or are not ready to begin within that time, a $15 late fee applies. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on availability.

What areas do you serve?
We provide mobile notary services in Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler, and surrounding areas. Remote online appointments are also available for eligible signers and documents.

What identification do I need?
Common acceptable identification includes an unexpired state-issued driver’s license or identification card, U.S. passport, or U.S. military ID. Other identification options may qualify under Arizona law. Contact us before your appointment if you have questions about your ID.

What if I don’t have acceptable identification?
Arizona allows identification through a qualifying credible witness in certain circumstances. Contact us beforehand so we can determine whether this option is available. Remote appointments have additional identity verification requirements.

Should I sign my document before the appointment?
Please wait until your appointment. Some notarizations require you to sign in the notary’s presence. If you already signed, contact us; whether you must sign again depends on the notarial act required.

How much does notarization cost?
Arizona permits a notarial fee of up to $10 per notarial act, including remote online notarizations. Mobile travel and other separately applicable service charges will be explained in your quote before you book.

Do you provide estate planning notarization?
Yes. We notarize prepared estate planning documents requiring a notarial act, including trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives. We do not draft documents or provide legal advice.

Do I need witnesses?
Witness requirements depend on your document and the law that applies to it. Confirm the requirements with your attorney or the organization receiving your document. Let us know before booking if witnesses are needed.

How does remote online notarization work?
After scheduling your appointment, we’ll send you a secure link to register and upload your documents. You’ll complete identity verification and meet with your notary by live video. Once all requirements are met, you’ll sign electronically, and the notary will complete the notarization. You’ll then receive your electronically notarized document. The session is recorded as required by Arizona rules.

Can you notarize for someone outside Arizona or overseas?
Remote online notarization may be available for signers in other states or countries while the notary is physically in Arizona. Eligibility depends on identity verification, the document, and applicable legal requirements. Confirm acceptance with the organization receiving your document.

Do you issue apostilles?
We assist with the apostille submission process. Apostilles are issued by the appropriate government authority, not by the notary. Arizona apostilles are issued by the Arizona Secretary of State.

Can an out-of-state birth or marriage certificate receive an Arizona apostille?
No. A vital record issued by another state must be authenticated through the appropriate authority in that state. Contact us to discuss your document before booking.

Do you offer service in Spanish?
Yes. Service is available in English and Spanish.
